Copyright complaints
We host short links and contact cards that our users create. If you believe one infringes your copyright, tell us here. One process serves notices under Georgian copyright law, the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512) and the EU's Digital Services Act.
Sending a notice
Use the form at qrgo.page/report/ followed by the code, and choose “Copyright or trademark”, or email abuse@qrgo.page.
A notice must include: (1) a description of the work, and the facts that show your rights were infringed; (2) the code, short link or contact card, with its URL; (3) your name, your identification or personal number, your actual and legal addresses, your phone number and your email; (4) your physical or electronic signature; (5) a statement that you believe in good faith that the use isn't authorised by the owner, its agent or the law; and (6) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or may act for the owner.
Knowingly false notices or counter-statements can make you liable for damages (17 U.S.C. §512(f)).
What happens next
On a complete notice, we aim to disable the material within 24 hours, tell the person who created it at once, and tell you in writing what we did within 24 hours.
If your code was disabled
We send you a link to a counter-statement form. It asks for: the material removed and where it appeared; why you say it doesn't infringe; your name, identification or personal number, addresses, phone and email; your signature; a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification; and your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts where you live or, outside the United States, of any US federal district court where we may be found, and to accept service from the person who sent the notice.
We forward it to the person who sent the notice within 24 hours. They have 14 days to give us a court's interim ruling. If they don't, we restore the material.
Repeat infringers
We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe: an account that receives 3 valid notices in 12 months, not withdrawn and not successfully countered, is closed. We may close an account sooner for blatant infringement.
